August 14, 2011 — LG Electronics’ Air Conditioning and Energy Savings Division is actively collaborating with companies in the financial sector. Several projects to equip office buildings with multi-zone air conditioning systems were implemented in 2011 for such large banks as Sberbank of Russia and Alfabank.
The unified distribution contact center of Sberbank of the Russian Federation, located in the Ordzhonikidzevsky district of the city of Yekaterinburg, is a three-story building with a total area of more than 2500 sq.m. The customer was faced with the task of providing air conditioning for a large number of premises for various purposes, creating an individual microclimate in each of them. The total cooling capacity of the system is 400 kW.
The Arktika company, which designed the air conditioning system and installed equipment at this facility, chose the MULTI V Plus II system manufactured by LG Electronics. This system is the most powerful of the second generation of the MULTI V systems. In addition, the modern DC Inverter compressors of the outdoor units allow you to optimally quickly adapt the cooling capacity of the systems to the changing thermal loads in the bank premises. “Since air conditioning systems consume 40-45% of the electricity of the entire building, unlike the rest of the equipment, the right choice of system in terms of energy consumption can save significant funds,” says Vladimirov Alexander the level of individual comfort in office space, combined with the efficiency of energy consumption per hour of operation. And the MULTI V air conditioning system fully meets these requirements. In addition, high-quality installation made it possible to launch the system on time and without any technical issues.»
Alfa-Bank specialists set themselves similar tasks. The bank’s 3-storey office building in Novosibirsk was also equipped with an LG multi-zone air conditioning system. The design features of the MULTI V Plus II outdoor units have not only simplified the installation of the air conditioning system and its regular maintenance, but also reduced utility and operating costs. To date, work is underway to equip another Alfa-Bank office building in the Central Administrative District of Moscow. These projects have become a continuation of the successful cooperation between LG and Alfa-Bank in equipping the bank’s offices with climate control equipment.
The line of LG multi-zone air conditioning systems has been present on the Russian market for more than two years. During this time, this climatic equipment has been installed and successfully operates at several dozen large objects for various purposes.
