Mitsubishi Electric opens new factory in Turkey

On December 12, 2017, a new Mitsubishi Electric plant was opened in Turkey. Production occupies an area of ​​40,000 square meters.

The new plant with an area of ​​40,000 square meters is located on the territory of the city of Manisa. Its favorable location, close to the major international port of Izmir in the Aegean Sea, enables the corporation to supply various types of air conditioning equipment to the domestic and European markets.

• Approximately 40 million euros were invested in the construction and commissioning of this production unit.
• Based on preliminary estimates, Mitsubishi Electric’s new manufacturing facility will produce around 500,000 complete outdoor and indoor air conditioners per year. According to development plans, this indicator will be reached by 2021.
• The new plant is expected to employ 400 people by 2020.

Official representatives of Mitsubishi Electric say that the opening and further development of such production in Turkey will play a key role in meeting the needs of local buyers, residents from different cities of Turkey and Europe.
