What is R-32?
The chemical name of R-32 is difluoromethane. It has been used for many years as a component of the R-410A refrigerant, which is a mixture of 50% R-32 and 50% R-125.
Daikin was the first company to find that using pure R-32 instead of a blend offers a number of benefits. Many other industry players have already followed suit.

In simple terms, a system of the same performance now requires significantly less refrigerant, which, firstly, reduces the risk of environmental impact in the event of a gas leak, and secondly, reduces the cost of refueling the system.
